A major Apple software update is coming this autumn, and it will reach staff devices whether you plan for it or not. Device eligibility is the first job
Apple is keeping iOS 27 available across a wide range of iPhones, with support expected for iPhone 11 and later. The catch is Apple Intelligence. Apple’s own availability notes say the newest Apple Intelligence features need supported hardware, including iPhone 16 models or later, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, along with supported iPads and Macs.
That means your fleet may split. Some staff get the full AI feature set. Some get iOS 27 without the same AI tools. Older handsets may remain usable but feel less consistent beside newer devices.
